The outer
square of the emblem of the Theosophical Order of
Service serves to remind us to be fair and upright
in our dealings with all concerned and especially
with the underprivileged.
The lotus in the four corners reinforce the message
that as these flowers, rooted in mud and dirt retain
their purity, so also, we individuals too can lead
a life of nobility despite being surrounded by the
mire of the selfish world.
At the heart of the emblem is the rose denoting
perfection which is the ultimate aim of all creation.
